The Team Wheel gives you a visual snapshot of a team's health at a given moment, on a scale from 0 to 10, across 8 essential dimensions. It draws on well-established team-health models, such as Patrick Lencioni's work and the GRPI model.
How to work with it
- For each dimension, choose a score from 0 to 10 (0 = not at all, 10 = fully).
- Jot down a few quick thoughts for each dimension: an observation, an example, an intention.
- Look at the wheel. Its uneven shape shows you where the team is doing well and where it needs attention.
- Save the wheel as a session. Next time, compare your progress.
What to look for in the result
- The lowest-scoring dimension — often this is where the bottleneck sits, the one shaping everything else.
- The shape of the wheel — how balanced it is. Balance comes from the scores sitting close to one another across dimensions.
- The dimension you want to move first — even a single point up can set off a chain of change.
